Introduction to ISO 31000 Risk Management
This one-day Introduction to Risk Management training course gives you an overview of risk management systems and an introduction to how you can start effectively managing risks in your organisation.
All organisations face uncertainty in meeting their objectives. Risk management is a systematic framework and process for maximising those areas where outcomes can be controlled, while minimising those that cannot be predicted and over which control cannot be exercised.
By attending this course you will be able to describe the fundamentals, key principles and application of risk management to your organisation, and learn how effective risk management can improve the flexibility of your organisation and help you plan accordingly.
This course is identical to day one of BSI's Implementing ISO 31000:2009 training course. Delegates who have attended this course only need to attend day two of the implementing course.

Implementing Risk Management
Build and implement a risk management framework based on ISO 31000:2009, the international risk management standard, with our Implementing Risk Management training course.
While all organsations manage risk to some degree, ISO 31000 establishes a number of principles to make risk management effective. It recommends that organisations develop, implement and continuously improve a risk management framework to integrate the process for managing risk into the organisation's overall governance, strategy and planning, management, reporting processes, policies, values and culture
The two-day training course will give you an understanding of the fundamentals of risk management and the dual nature of risks that face organisations whilst giving you the skills to implement a risk management framework within your business. The training course equips you with the skills you need to manage risks effectively, whatever your business, and whatever management systems you already have in place.
Day one of this course is identical to BSI's Understanding Risk Management training course. Delegates who have already attended the Understanding Risk Management training course only need to attend day two of the Implementing Risk Management training course.
