BSI India issued BS EN 16001 Energy Management certificate to Supreme Industries Ltd. M/s Supreme Industries Ltd became the third company in Asia Pacific region to be certified to BS EN 16001 the New energy Management Standard.

On January 27, 2009, Indian Oil Corporation, became the first company in the oil and gas sector to have embedded a Business Continuity Management System, and achieve the BS-25999-2:2007 certfication.
