Course Description
BSI’s “Introduction to Quality Management Systems” course provides a general understanding of the concepts of the ISO 9000 series of standards and how the requirements impact the day-to-day operations of organizations in any industry. An experienced instructor explains the clauses of ISO 9001:2008 in detail, providing a base for understanding the Quality Management Principles. Students learn by participating in group exercises and in-depth discussions

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Explain the concepts of quality management
- Describe quality management definitions, concepts, and guidelines
- Identify the 8 management principles and their application
- Outline the application and requirements of ISO 9001:2008

Prerequisite:
This is an introductory course designed for individuals with little or no previous knowledge of quality management systems. The basics of ISO 9001:2008 will be covered in full detail.
